About the Author

Hello, my name is Tara and I am a former sugar addict.

After years and years of huge amounts of sugar being part of my daily life (ice-cream for breakfast anyone??) I grew tired of the rush-crash-rush cycle and figured there had to be a better way. Not just “quitting” sugar, not just “depriving” myself of the sweet treats I thought I deserved – guilt and shame are two sure-fire ways to make sure you DON’T succeed! Especially when you’re surrounded by sugar all day, every day, as we all are.

I researched  and trained and learned all I could about how we humans react to sugar – not just physically, but emotionally too. Distilling all of that knowledge into a few key methods now has me being able to dismiss sugar, easily and effortlessly.  I figured there might be some other folks out there who might want to unlock these secrets too – so rather than keeping them all to myself, I decided to write a book!
